And the days you spend in a bangka
Half of Palawan is reached by water, so a lot of trips are part road and part boat. We don't own boats: on an island day the bangka is chartered through the licensed local operators at that wharf, and we quote it together with the transfer either side so it is one arrangement rather than two.
Out of Puerto PrincesaHonda Bay island hopping
Departures use Sta. Lourdes wharf, north of the city centre, so a Honda Bay day begins and ends with a road transfer unless you are already staying nearby. The boat itself is handled by licensed local operators at the wharf — we can put the vehicle and the bangka into one quote.

The lettered day tours are organised by the local boat operators, each covering a different group of islands, lagoons and beaches in Bacuit Bay. We charter through licensed Bacuit Bay operators, so the tour and any road transfers either side can sit in one quote.

The village sits on Pagdanan Bay, with a scatter of small islands and coral reefs offshore that are visited on boat day trips out of the village. We arrange those charters through licensed local operators, alongside the long road leg that gets you there.
Best for: A quieter island day on the west coast
Where we quote the road leg only
Not every water trip works that way, and it is worth knowing which before you plan the day. For the Underground River the boat runs from Sabang wharf along the coast to the cave entrance, and the part we quote is the private return transfer from Puerto Princesa to Sabang. At San Vicente and Long Beach the boat trips out to the municipality's own islands are arranged locally at the coast; what we quote is the road and airport side that gets you there.
